AirTran Lowers Fares to Washington/Dulles and Boston; Both Business and Leisure Travel Reduced Over 20 Percent

ORLANDO, Fla., Sept. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- AirTran (Nasdaq:AAIR) today announced a lower fare structure, now in effect, for flights between Atlanta and Washington (Dulles) and Atlanta and Boston.

As a result of the restructuring, both business and leisure fares have been reduced by as much as 27 percent.

"These markets have always responded well to our affordable fares," said Kevin Healy, vice president planning, "The new fare structure should stimulate an even greater demand than we are currently experiencing."

There currently is no end ticket date or last travel date for the new lower Washington and Boston fares. No travel restrictions apply.
