PR Newswire: news distribution, targeting and monitoring
Mar 30 2012

AMSTERDAM, March 30, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --

Visitors to London will be able to book rooms and suites in Buckingham Palace and Kensington Palace during the 2012 Olympics period. Hotel reservation website Easytobook.com has confirmed that rooms and suites in both palaces will be amongst the latest accommodations available once the new website design goes live.

London Tourist Office anticipates over 4.6 million visitors from overseas to descend on London over the Olympic period. This summer is also the occasion of HRH Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee, which the monarchy intends to mark in generous fashion. With accommodations in London already exceeding capacity for summer bookings, bed space is at a premium.

Preparing to launch a new design for the website in May, Easytobook.com is thrilled to feature this world exclusive. Says founder Omri Amir, "We strive to continuously improve our website content for greater usability. This exciting new offer of royal accommodation is the perfect accompaniment to our improved presentation."

Buckingham Palace has 200 rooms and suites open for booking. The palace has a staff of 800 people and gardens covering 40 acres, all at the disposal of its guests. Newly-renovated Kensington Palace has several luxurious suites with garden views, in addition to a number of smaller double bed and twin bed rooms.

Guests wishing to book accommodation in either palace will need to tick a checkbox agreeing to be subject to a full background check courtesy of Scotland Yard. Appropriate measures will then be taken to ensure the safety of the Royal Family.

Advance accessibility will be given to fans of Easytobook.com's Facebook page next week.

Visitors can find more information on staying at Buckingham Palace here and more information on staying at Kensington Palace here.

European hotel booking service Easytobook.com was bought by the Travix mega-group under BCD Holdings in August of 2011. The group reported a record turnover in 2011 of $20.8 billion, an 18% growth from 2010.
