With the increase in CX-5 production, Mazda plans to employ Japanese production facilities, Ujina Plant No.1 and No. 2, as well as the Monotsukuri Innovation manufacturing process, which will produce the newest generation of SkyActiv technology. The demand for the CX-5 has been one of the most groundbreaking successes for Mazda. The automaker hopes production expansion will meet the needs of its valuable customers.

The CX-5, which is available at Blue Ridge Mazda in Lee's Summit, is the first Mazda vehicle fully-equipped with SkyActiv technology. Built on Mazda's balanced design philosophy, the crossover SUV is one of the most fuel efficient cars on the market that doesn't sacrifice the iconic Mazda 'Zoom-Zoom' performance.

Around the world, the CX-5 has caused quite a stir. According to Mazda, 24,000 units were sold as of July 1 in Japan alone, which doubled the annual sales goal. In Russia, Mazda's largest European sales market, the CX-5 is nearing its annual sales goal of 12,000 units. Mazda expects the crossover's success to continue for years to come.

The unmistakably popular Mazda CX-5 is available at Blue Ridge Mazda. Home to Mazda in Lee's Summit as well as used cars in Lee's Summit, the dealership keeps the most innovative vehicles in its inventory.
