PR Newswire: news distribution, targeting and monitoring
Oct 29 2012

PITTSBURGH, Oct. 29, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Matthews Marking Systems will be displaying a wide variety of marking and coding systems, including some very exciting new products, at Pack Expo 2012 in Chicago, October 28-31.  Attendees of the show – the packaging and processing industry's premier event – can stop by booth #S-1342 and be among the first to see:

Viacode L-Series and S-Series
Building off of the highly popular Viacode control platform, Matthews will show the L-Series thermal inkjet printer.  Utilizing print cartridge technology, the L-Series offers an affordable, high resolution mark, up to 30" high, for either porous or non-porous surfaces.  The S-Series introduces laser coding technology to the Viacode family for those interested in a high quality, permanent mark with no consumables.  The benefits that are inherent in the Viacode platform apply to these new technologies as well, particularly the ability to control multiple print modules (and print technologies) from a single controller, and the effortless integration with existing ERP and WMS systems.

SVM-Series Thermal Transfer Printers
Available with either 32mm or 53mm wide marking heads, and suitable for either continuous or intermittent printing, the SVM-Series thermal transfer printers provide an economical solution for high resolution printing (300 dpi) onto plastic film and paper.

HP-2600 Thermal Inkjet Printer
High resolution, HP cartridge technology coupled with a powerful 7" touch screen controller, the HP-2600 printer is a compact and affordable printer for a variety of applications, from plastics to paper and cardboard.

These new products will join Matthews' already stellar lineup of marking and coding systems for primary, secondary and tertiary packaging.  Also on display will be:

  • C84+ Continuous Inkjet
  • Viacode T-Series High Resolution Inkjet
  • V84e Drop-On-Demand Valve Inkjet
  • Coditherm and Swing Thermal Transfer Printers
  • e-SolarMark Laser Coding
