BIOREM Announces $2.2 Million in New Orders

GUELPH, ON, Jan. 2, 2013 /PRNewswire/ - BIOREM Inc. (TSX-V: BRM) ("Biorem" or "the Company") is pleased to announce the recent receipt of four new orders totalling $2.2 million.

The largest order, exceeding $1.4 million, is for an industrial VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) and odour removal project in Moscow, Russia, which is the 5^th order from this large European multinational client. Biorem has utilized its Biosorbens^R proprietary biofilter media technology in the design of the five projects which is highly effective for this particular VOC emission.

Biorem was also awarded its 3^rd order from a major petrochemical client in Brazil for a system to destroy odour and VOC emissions from a refinery waste water treatment facility.

Two additional orders for odour control systems within municipal waste water treatment plants in Canada and USA were also received. Each of the 4 orders are scheduled for completion in 2013.
