A Brief Blog Profile: Ledger Bennett DGA Blog
I get all kinds of pitches from blogs seeking a brief blog profile on PR Newswire for Bloggers. I appreciate blogs that jump onto my radar, and I check out every single one of them.
This week, I looked into Ledger Bennett DGA (Demand Generation Agency). The Ledger Bennett DGA blog was pitched by Greg Dorban, head of inbound marketing for the company, which has offices in London and Milton Keynes, England.
The blog covers B2B marketing.
In a recent post entitled, If Sir Isaac Newton were a marketer, Phil Ledger says the time has come for the marketing discipline "to stand up and be counted alongside other disciplines that are built on fact, and science."
"This is good for marketers involved in demand generation, both agency and client side because it means we now have strategies based on data and reality – which means they can be measured and calculated," Ledger says. "Marketing, and demand generation programmes today need not be considered as a quarterly cost to the business – instead they are 3-year (or more) investments in revenue generation. They can sit alongside investment in R+D or other capital investments."
