A Brief Blog Profile: Living Well Journal
What does it mean to live well? It's a question Living Well Journal aims to help answer.
Living Well Journal was launched in by Eric Norwood in Jan. 2011. According to the blog's profile, Norwood is a veteran health care exec who "believes that as individuals we must own our own health - - physically, emotionally and spiritually."
As such, Living Well Journal covers wellness and health care reform and features a number of books for recommended reading.
A recent blog post includes Employed, but not Engaged, which goes over the results of a recent Gallup poll -- The State of the American Workplace.
"Only 30 percent of workers are truly engaged in their work - - they are excited and invested in their work and the enterprise they work for," the blog says. "Another 18 percent, however, are 'actively disengaged' to the point they are undermining the work of others."
