A Brief Blog Profile: Torpedo Factory Artists' Association Blog
I cannot tell a lie: I love the Torpedo Factory in Alexandria, Va. It's not far from my home, and it's a great place to see some incredible art and working studios.
It just so happens the Torpedo Factory Artists’ Association (TFAA) keeps a blog dedicated to its thriving artist community.
An interesting recent post is "Should I -- or my child -- major in art?" Part one: Practical advice.
In this post, a few TFAA members share advice to prospective art majors and aspiring artists. It's the first of three posts to tackle this subject.
Another great post is Alison Sigethy’s "Guide Boats": kayaks as symbolism and solace. There are some really beautiful photos with this one.
