A Brief Blog Profile: The Frugal Materialist

by Thomas Hynes

The Frugal Materialist is the perfect blog for anyone who wants to have that "expensive look" without dishing out loads of cash. And it is possible. There are so many bargain, do it yourself options out there. What's great is that a lot of them don't look like as inexpensive as they are. This blog's mission is to highlight those options. The site hopes to provide tips, tricks and affordable furnishings to "get that gorgeous interior.... for LESS!"

I know that The Frugal Materialist is after my own heart after reading this post about the magic of Marshalls.  Honestly, I've purchased my fair amount of clothes from that place, but here I'm learning there's also some decent furnishings, too. This post outlines alternatives for guest beds. I aeem to always have a lot of out-of-town company, so I might just try a few of these. And speaking of trying, the blog routinely helps their readers try to get a certain look. Here they outline how to get that 1970's Brazilian loft look.

And that's just the start. There are many other looks they can help you achieve on this blog. In fact, there's a lot this site can do for you and your home. The only thing it's not going to do is cost you all that much money.

News Widget

Our widget allows you to display PR Newswire content on your site with very little back-end programming required.  You not only get the headline, but also the body of text of the news release, keeping the user on your site at all times.  In order to do so, the difference between our Widget and other widgets is at the end of the sign-up process, you will be provided with two pieces of source code -- one for the page where the Widget itself will be displayed and one for the pages that will display the body of text of each news release.  In addition, the sign-up process allows you to have 100 percent control over every aspect of the Widget's appearance, so that the Widget can blend in fully with the look and feel of your site. Still not convinced? Here's what one blogger had to say about the widget.
