A Brief Blog Profile: Gay Gamer

Gay Gamer is a lot what it sounds like. But in case you're confused, it's a video game blog dedicated to the gay and lesbian community. Or as their tag line so cheekily says, "For boys who like boys who like joysticks! And girls who like girls who like rumble packs!" And that's the kind of humor you can expect from this site. They're serious about the video games. But, you know, it's video games. Might as well have a sense of humor.
Speaking of humor, did you know that Don Flemenco from the original "Mike Tyson's Punch-Out" was gay? I didn't know that! That is until Gay Gamer outed him on their list of the 20 Gayest Video Game Characters. This list is part funny and part really true. But it also says, "There are and always have been gay video game characters and don't let anyone tell you differently." Another great feature is the Gay Gamer of the Week. This week it's Rich P. Congratulations, Rich! Oh and if you like wordplay, let me direct you to the site's product review section, also known as the gamer's closet.
Now look, even if this is a "gay" website, I feel safe saying even straight gamers could learn a thing or two. After all, they're just video games. And they're for everyone.
