Geeks are Sexy is a Canadian technology blog. It was originally started as a personal project in 2005. But then a funny thing happened. People started reading the site. And then even more people started reading. It was a hit. Within a year, the site had become so popular it had to be moved to a paid platform. It was no longer a hobby. It had become a job. It had become too sexy... logistically speaking.
It's pretty clear why this blog became so popular. It's awesome. On the site, you can watch a video on whether or not Pluto is a planet. (Spoiler alert: It is not.) On this post, you can read about a convoy of cars in Spain that traveled 125 miles (or roughly 200 kilometers) without the drivers touching the wheels. That's crazy! There's this post on how DC comics will reintroduce a character as gay in coming issues. And if that's not enough, there's also news on video games, computers, gadgets and just about everything else geeks love.
It's not surprising Geeks are Sexy became so popular. This blog publishes a ton of great content every day. And while I might not go so far as to call it sexy, I would certainly call it awesome.
