Quick word to any bloggers looking to get reviewed up here. Having a Marvin Gaye lyric in the title of your blog will get my attention. It also doesn't hurt to have a video from Arrested Development (the band) on your site either. But, before we get any further along into a musical conversation, let me point out that Make Me Wanna Holler is a blog about being a father first and foremost.
Luckily for him, he collaborates on the blog with a woman who can straight up cook! (Or lucky for his kids!) And if you want proof, you can check out this arroz con pollo or this 30-minute meal that i will be attempting to make myself some time soon. But, again, he's also a dad. And if you want proof of that, you can read about his near-crushing inability to have the sex talk with his son. I get that. I didn't want to have that conversation as the kid, and I surely don't want to have that conversation as the adult.
Still, Make Me Wanna Holler is informative. Here he profiles the great jazz pianist, Duke Ellington. And here he takes a closer look at tennis great, Arthur Ashe. It's a very informative blog that, yes, at times a little bit awkward. Sounds like a dad to me.
