A Brief Blog Profile: Smitten Kitchen
Smitten Kitchen describes itself as "fearless cooking from a tiny kitchen in New York City."
The kitchen is 42 square feet. That's not a lot of space. There's one counter, a tiny stove, and, you'd have to imagine, a lot of improvisation. The blog is run by Deb and her husband. And while this is a serious food blog, don't expect to see "Himalayan pink salt at $10 per quarter-ounce" any time soon.
You can expect to see a great many mouth-watering recipes. Who honestly can say no to roasted pear and chocolate chunk scones? Or bacon corn hash?
At this point, you should be fully taken with Smitten Kitchen. In fact, you should be drooling. Beyond, eliciting appetites, this blog is proof positive that you don't need fancy ingredients or an extravagant kitchen to make delicious food.
