A Brief Blog Profile: The Inspiration Room
by Thomas Hynes
The Inspiration Room is an online collaborative effort focused on delivering the best and brightest ideas the creative world has to offer. The site also doesn't discriminate against where the work comes from. It doesn't matter if the work is from an agency, a production house or a PR company. If it deserves promotion, you'll more than likely see it on the blog. In their own words, they 'work with the values of inspiration, creativity, respect and integrity.'
The Inspiration Room also takes a closer look at some of the new and recent work of the industry. For instance, this "walk of shame" ad is pretty fantastic. And the same could be said for this "MANta Claus" ad. Yet, it's not all traditional advertising, as you'll see with this post on Amnesty International's recent campaign. The point is: if it's good, they'll showcase it.
Probably my favorite part of the site can be found at the top of the page. It's a section called "Recent Creativity From Around the World." And as you may have guessed, the stuff comes from all over. There's even a, dare I say, neat searching functionality. Want to see the best print ads to come out of the Czech Republic? Or maybe, you're more into TV spots from New Zealand. Not a problem. Step inside The Inspiration Room. They've got you covered.
