A Brief Blog Profile: Winding Road

by Thomas Hynes

Winding Road gets its name from that ideal stretch of asphalt. It is meant to evoke that ideal moment behind the wheel where the true art of driving can be experienced. It's not enough to say this is a blog for car nerds. This is a blog for car lovers. This is a blog for people who dream in four wheels. This isn't a blog for commuting. This is a blog for the open road.

And speaking of winding roads, here they have a video of ten can't-miss videos. On this post they feature some secondhand cars for movie buffs. This post would resonate most with any fans of Night Rider, Back to the Future or Transformers.  What's great about Winding Road is that their love of cars extends beyond, well, the road. On the site, you'll find a showroom section. Here they've collected car-related items perfect for any gear head. For example, there's this distressed license plate wall clock. There's also these fuel gage and speedometer cuff links. And, I think everyone can agree this dog seat belt is both awesome and adorable.

But, beyond the gear, this blog is about the experience of driving. First and foremost this blog is about the cars, and of course the awesome, hopefully winding roads ahead.

News Widget

Our widget allows you to display PR Newswire content on your site with very little back-end programming required.  You not only get the headline, but also the body of text of the news release, keeping the user on your site at all times.  In order to do so, the difference between our Widget and other widgets is at the end of the sign-up process, you will be provided with two pieces of source code -- one for the page where the Widget itself will be displayed and one for the pages that will display the body of text of each news release.  In addition, the sign-up process allows you to have 100 percent control over every aspect of the Widget's appearance, so that the Widget can blend in fully with the look and feel of your site. Still not convinced? Here's what one blogger had to say about the widget.
