NAPSTER PROVIDES FIRST LOOK AT "NAPSTER DO THE MATH"
Story Summary:
Napster, the biggest brand in digital music, announced today the "Napster Do The Math" Super Bowl ad as well as the groundbreaking technology of "Napster To Go." The advertisement highlights that Napster To Go subscribers will be able to move an unlimited number of songs to their MP3 players for one low monthly price instead of the pricier pay-per-song format.
The ad kicks off a $30 million marketing campaign to introduce consumers to Napster To Go, the world's first portable subscription service which lets consumers move an unlimited amount of songs from Napster's million plus catalog to compatible MP3 players for one, low monthly fee of $14.95. The Super Bowl ad and marketing campaign will also be supported by strategic alliances with leading consumer electronics manufacturers Creative, Dell and iriver.
