LATEST VISION CORRECTION TECHNOLOGIES CLEARLY CHANGING LIVES
From Models To Military Pilots, Seeing Free And Clear Of Contacts Can Mean Better Opportunities
Story Summary:
With over 1.3 million laser vision correction procedures expected this year; living and dealing with bad eyesight is a thing of the past for many Americans. From models to military pilots, being able to see better means more opportunities. For some, it’s not just a new convenience, it’s changing the way they live and the jobs they do – so they can see more clearly.
Since 1993 some 100-thousand active-duty military personnel have had a refractive surgery procedure to eliminate the need for glasses or contacts in the field. What’s more, their surgeries are provided at no cost to those who qualify, because the Department of Defense considers the procedures one of the most significant medical contributions to Navy and Marine Corps Operational Readiness.
