On Friday 8/8/08, the Horseshoe Casino celebrates the grand opening with Bette Midler and Josh Kelley. The new $500 million Horseshoe casino is located 20 minutes outside of downtown Chicago and covers 350,000 square feet. Grammy award-winning artist Bette Midler will be the first to perform in the 2,500 seat theater, The Venue, on Friday night followed by a Smashing Pumpkins reunion on Saturday.

Sexy singer Josh Kelley will also perform for the grand opening guests. NYC’s Real Housewives Countess Luann de Lesseps and Bethenny Frankel will also be making the trip to the Midwest where Frankel will be whipping up her “skinny girl margaritas” for elite guests and high rollers in the Seven Stars VIP Lounge.
