SEATTLE and LOS ANGELES, May 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Endemol USA, the
world's largest independent production company and market leader in digital
entertainment with global hit franchises such as Deal or No Deal, Big
Brother and 1 vs. 100, has teamed up with digital entertainment services
company, RealNetworks(R), Inc., to offer full-length episodes totaling 80
broadcast hours of some of the most outrageous reality TV shows from the
U.S. and Europe via the SuperPass subscription service.
SuperPass subscribers now have instant access to their favorite reality
TV shows that are no longer airing on primetime TV. Many of the new shows
are already available, with the full line-up debuting over the coming
weeks:
-- Anything for Love (Previously on Fox) -- How far will people go in the
name of love? Featuring participants' amazing stories of love and
heartache, this show provides viewers an inside look into emotional
reunions, extraordinary blind dates and touching marriage proposals --
ultimately revealing -- how far would you go for the one you loved?
-- Chains of Love (Previously on NBC/UPN) -- This show is the ultimate
21st century dating show where people are literally chained to each
other. Each female contestant chooses four men she is attracted to.
She is then handed $20,000 and will be chained to these potential
suitors for no less than seven days! Followed around the clock by
cameras, this chain gang has to do everything together: shop, eat,
sleep, and even shower! Has the experience of being chained to the
other person formed a lasting bond between the two of them, or will
the contestant undo the lock and pocket the lot?
-- Fool Around With . . . (Never before televised in the U.S.) -- This
reality show is driven by two single ideas -- sexually charged air and
money, as a real single girl looking for love and some cash moves in
with five guys. All the guys say they are single, but four of them are
lying! Their girlfriends are watching their every move and secretly
coaching them to be very convincing and flirt outrageously! If the
girl chooses the real single guy at the end of the week, she wins
10,000 pounds Sterling. If she chooses an already attached guy, he
wins the 10,000 pounds to share with his girlfriend.
-- I Want to Be a Hilton (Previously on NBC) -- Everyone's heard of the
Hiltons, especially daughters Paris and Nicky, but what would it take
to actually live like them? Kathy Hilton, mother to Paris and Nicky,
hosts this engaging and humorous series that follows 14 eccentric
young contestants as they vie for the opportunity to live the
glamorous lifestyle of high society. Each week Kathy eliminates those
who "didn't make the list." The finalist wins an extravagant prize
package including a $200,000 trust fund!
-- The People's Champions (Previously on FX) -- This hilarious game show
is the ultimate reality competition for the "Jackass generation."
Never mind being the fastest, tallest or most dedicated, The People's
Champions is all about incredible feats of human endurance in some of
the strangest and most obscure challenges ever performed.
-- The Salon (First time available in the U.S.) -- Real customers,
11 real beauticians, real hair-dos... The Salon offers a sneak peek
into the glamorous world of hair salons. With high drama ranging from
haircuts to staff tantrums to manicures to juicy gossip, viewers get a
glimpse into every aspect of the beauty business.
-- Under One Roof (Previously on UPN) -- Five families, complete with
teenage children, compete for their own slice of paradise under the
hot Polynesian sun. Taking place on the island of Koro in Fiji, the
families are dropped off at different points, but equidistant from
that idyllic home for which they are competing. The challenge is to
find the house with a global positioning system based on the latest
satellite technology. The situation is ripe for tension, conflict and
emotion. In the end, the family that works best together wins a slice
of paradise.
