Pink Floyd vs. Pandora: The renowned art rock band is speaking out for all music artists in an editorial at USAToday.com about Pandora's (http://www.pandora.com) attempt to get Congress to cut artists' royalties on Internet play by music sites by a large percentage (85% Pink Floyd claims) of what they are currently receiving. Pandora's side of the argument is that it pays too much in royalties to artists compared to what over the air radio stations pay for per song to ever turn a profit. Their goal is to lower costs in order for Internet radio to survive. Ironically Pink Floyd recently signed a deal with Pandora compeititor Spotify (https://www.spotify.com) for their entire catalog. The full Pink Floyd editorial is here: http://www.usatoday.com/story/opinion/2013/06/23/pink-floyd-royalties-pandora-column/2447445/
