WKSF-FM (Asheville, NC) -- WKSF-FM (http://www.twitter.com/99kisscountry) says farewell to Brian Hatfield. He had been with the country music station for nine years as Assistant Program Director/Music Director.

WBBJ-TV (Jackson, TN) -- Mallory Cooke (mcooke@wbbjtv.com) is doing her second stint with this ABC affiliate. She will Anchor the weekday morning newscast. Mallory joins from KFSM-TV in Ft. Smith, AR where she was a Reporter.

WKJX-FM (Elizabeth City, NC) -- Karen Parker Chesson (kpc6@cox.net) has been hired by WKJX-FM (http://www.twitter.com/967TheBlock) for the Midday DJ slot at this hip hop station.

WCKN-FM (Charleston, SC) -- Replacing Charlie James as Morning DJ is Dale Desmond. He will partner with DJ Summer McQueen at this country music station. Desmond was previously Program Director at KTHK-FM in Idaho Falls.

WLKY-TV (Louisville, KY) -- Christina Dettman (cdettman@hearst.com) joins this CBS affiliate as Anchor/Reporter from WPTV-TV in West Palm Beach where she was a Reporter. Meanwhile, leaving the station is Anchor Eric King. He travels to KXAS-TV in Fort Worth.

WLEX-TV (Lexington, KY) -- Sports Anchor Mary Jo Perino has left this NBC affiliate to spend more me with her young son. Perino has been with the station for a decade.

WJHL-TV - (Johnson City, TN) -- Charlo Greene (cgreene@wowktv.com) has been hired as the new Weekend Anchor at WOWK-TV in Huntington, W.V. She joins from WJHL in Johnson City, TN.

WCYQ-FM (Knoxville, TN) -- Dave Steele is the new voice of this country music station.

WFTS-TV (Tampa, FL) -- Investigative Reporter Matt Schwartz is no longer with the station. He has joined KVOA in Tucson.

WKMG-TV (Orlando, FL) -- Anchor and Reporter Jacqueline London has parted ways with the station. She is now with the team at WCAU-TV in Philadelphia.

WBTT & WZJZ (Sarasota, FL) -- Eric Rosado (mattbosso@clearchannel.com) has been promoted to Program Director for this Clear Channel duoply.

WFTV-TV (Orlando, FL) -- Greg Warmoth (greg.warmoth@wftv.com) moves to the evening shift at Channel 9. He will anchor both the 5:30 and 11 p.m. newscasts. Barbara West has retired. She was with the station for twenty four years.  

The News-Press (Fort Myers, FL) -- Digital Editor Michelle Hudson leaves the paper. Temporarily filling in is David Plazas (dplazas@gannett.com) as acting Digital Editor until a replacement is named.

Tampa Bay Times (Tampa, FL) -- Lucy Morgan has retired after nearly 30 years with the publication.

WTOG-TV (Tampa, FL) -- Stan Gill (sgill@wtogtv.com) has been named Vice President and General Manager for the CW station.

WRBQ-FM (Tampa, FL) -- Paul Street (pstreet@cbsradio.com) is the new midday Host for this classic hits station.

First Coast News (Jacksonville, FL) -- Joy Purdy has decided to part ways First Coast News  in order to spend time with her growing family.

WTVJ-TV (Miami, FL) -- Adam Berg (adam.berg@nbcuni.com) joins NBC 6 as the new Weekend Meteorologist.

WBTT-TV and WZJZ-TV (Fort Myers, FL) -- Clear Channel has promoted Eric Rosado (ericrosado@clearchannel.com) to Program Director for WBTT (http://www.1055thebeat.com/main.html ) and WZJZ (http://www.y100florida.com/main.html ). The Post-Tribune (Merrillville, IN) -- Executive Editor Paulette Haddix has been relieved of her duties as the publication has ceased.

WHIO-TV (Dayton, OH) -- Mark Bruce is leaving the CBS affiliate to become the Public Information Officer for the Ohio Department of Natural Resources.

WKYC-TV (Cleveland, OH) -- A.J. Ross has been named Multimedia Journalist at the NBC affiliate. She most recently served as Freelance Reporter at WTAE-TV in Pittsburgh and the New Pittsburgh Courier.

WDJT-TV (Milwaukee, WI) -- Earl Arms (earms@cbs58.com) has been named Sports Anchor and Reporter at the CBS station in Milwaukee. He previously served as Sports Anchor and Reporter at WEYI-TV in Flint, Michigan.

WHOI-TV/WAOE-TV (Peoria, IL) -- Eric Greene joins as Anchor for the evening newscasts for the ABC station and MyTV affiliate. Greene will also host Newsmakers on WHOI/WEEK, a monthly political show. He joins from WVVA-TV in Bluefield, West Virginia where he served as Weekday Evening Anchor/Producer.

KYMA-TV (Yuma, AZ) -- The NBC affiliate has named Ernesto Romero as the station’s News Director. Romero has worked at KYMA since 2009. He takes over for Luis Cruz who left KYMA recently to work for U-T TV, the web and cable network for the San Diego Union-Tribune.

KGUN-TV (Tucson, AZ) -- News Director Forrest Carr has announced he is leaving the ABC affiliate. Carr had been re-hired as News Director in 2009. He served as News Director at KGUN from 1997 until 2001. Carr has also worked as News Director at WFLA in Tampa, FL, WFTX in Ft. Myers, FL, and KRQE in Albuquerque, NM.

KABC-TV (Glendale, CA) -- Political Reporter John North has retired after 34 years with the station.

KTTV-TV (Los Angeles, CA) -- Orange County Bureau Chief Al Naipo has parted ways with Fox 11. There has been no replacement named. The station welcomes Ramona Schindelheim (ramona.schindelheim@foxtv.com) as Managing Editor.

TheWrap (Internet) Joseph Kapsch joins TheWrap as Deputy Managing Editor. Kapsch was previously with CeleBuzz. Brent Lang (brent@thewrap,com) is upped from Reporter to Senior Writer.

Variety (Los Angeles, CA) -- Todd Spangler will join Variety in April as Digital Editor and Scott Foundas (scott.foundas@variety.com) joins as Chief Film Critic. Both journalists will be based in New York. Steven Gaydos (steven.gaydos@variety.com) has been promoted to Vice President, Executive Editor.

KFSN-TV (Fresno, CA) -- Congrats to Sara Sandrik (sara.sandrik@abc.com) on being promoted to Weekend Evening Anchor.

Orange County Register (Santa Ana, CA) -- Art Marroquin (amarroquin@ocregister.com) joins the paper as a local Reporter covering Anaheim, CA. Marroquin was previously with the Daily Breeze, where he broke the story about the suicide of A-list motion picture director Tony Scott. Cathleen Falsani (https://twitter.com/godgrrl) joins the paper as a Columnist for the newly launched religion section, Faith & Values. Jim Hinch (jhinch@ocregister) rejoins the paper, also covering religion.

Playboy Magazine (Beverly Hills, CA) -- Jason Buhrmester (jbuhrmester@playboy.com) has been promoted to Executive Editor.

Sacramento Business Journal (Sacramento, CA) -- Staff Writer Ben Van der Meer(bvandermeer@bizjournals.com) moves over from the Appeal-Democrat covering construction, real estate, transportation and agriculture.

KTLA-TV (Los Angeles, CA) -- Longtime Morning Anchor Michaela Pereira will be parting ways with the station at the end of May. She will be joining CNN in New York.

Canon Beach Gazette (Cannon Beach, OR) -- Nancy McCarthy (nmcarthy@dailyastorian.com) has been named Editor of the Cannon Beach Gazette and Seaside Signal, which were recently purchased from Country Media, Inc., by EO Media Group. Also, Dan Haag (dhaag@dailyastorian.com) has joined the Cannon Beach Gazette as a Reporter. He most recently worked for Coast Weekend, as well as Oregon Coast Today and Oregon Coast Magazine.

Dickinson Press (Dickinson, ND) -- Dustin Monke (dmonke@thedickinsonpress.com) has been named as Managing Editor at the paper, taking over for Jennifer McBride, who recently left. Monke previously served as the Sports Editor for the paper. He has been with The Press since 2006.

Seattle Weekly (Seattle, WA) -- Mark Baumgarten (mbaumgarten@seattleweekly.com) has been named as Editor-in-Chief at the weekly paper, replacing Mike Seely, who left in January. From 2007 to 2011, Baumgarten was the Executive Editor of Sound Magazine, and he has also worked as an Editor at Metro Magazine and a Music Editor at Willamette Week in Portland, OR.

Idaho Statesman (Boise, ID) -- Kristin Rodine (krodine@idahostatesman.com) has been hired as a Business Reporter for the Boise daily paper. Most recently she was the Canyon County reporter for the paper, and has also been an Editor for the Idaho Press-Tribune.

The Herald and News (Klamath Falls, OR) -- Nora Avery-Page (naverypage@heraldandnews.com) has been named as a Staff Reporter for the paper. She will be covering features, medical news, consumer topics and entertainment stories. She previously served as the paper’s Night Copy Editor.

KBNZ-TV (Bend, OR) -- John Hammarley, formerly a Medical Reporter at KDFW-TV in Dallas, is joining KBNZ as a Lifestyle Features Reporter.

KLAS-TV (Las Vegas, NV) -- After just eight months as Morning Co-Anchor, Shauna Khorrami is out at the CBS affiliate, according to the Las Vegas Review Journal. Khorrami debuted in July to replace Dayna Roselli, who was fired from KLAS. Station management said they were “not satisfied” with the ratings for the morning newscast.

KVAL-TV (Eugene, OR) -- Amanda Zitzman is leaving WTLV-WJXX in Jacksonville, FL to join KVAL as Morning and Noon Anchor.

KSNV-TV (Las Vegas, NV) -- Craig Hume is joining the NBC affiliate as News Director. Hume comes from Harrisburg, PA, where he has been the News Director at WHP-WLYH since 2009..
Hume replaces Bob Stoldal, who will be Executive Vice President of News.

He takes over from Luis Cruz, who left the station at the end of Feburary sweeps to become Executive Producer of afternoon news and programming at the recently launched U-T TV.

Al Punto con Jorge Ramos (Miami,FL) -- Jorge Ramos's show “Al Punto con Jorge Ramos" will be produced by Executive Producer Maria Torres.

Univision - Noticias 23 - KUVN-TV (Dallas,TX) -- Reporting live! Edén Soto Alva has joined the newsroom at KUVN-TV as a Reporter.

Univision - Noticias 33 - KTVW-TV (Phoneix,AZ) -- A familiar face is back on the airways as Sergio Urquidi has returned to Univision and will Anchor the newscast.

CNN En Español (Atlanta,GA) -- Alina Machado has joined the news staff for CNN En Español as a Correspondent. Luis Treto has also joined the CNN family as Producer.
