WSTR-FM/WQXI-AM (Atlanta, GA) -- Scott Lindy (slindy@star94.com) has been appointed Operations Director for the Lincoln Financial Media radio stations in Atlanta. WDCG-FM (Raleigh, NC) -- Morning Producer Mike Morse has left this 105.1 station.

WHBQ-TV (Memphis, TN) -- Reporter Jason Carter has left this Fox affiliate.

WECT-TV (Wilmington, NC) -- Former WCAV-TV Reporter Bailey Disselkoen (bdisselkoen@wect.com) now holds the same position at this NBC affiliate.

WTVD-TV (Raleigh, NC) -- Caroline Foy Welch (general.manager@abc11mail.com) has been named General Manager/Vice President here. She was Vice President of Programming at WPVI-TV in Philly.

WXIA-TV (Atlanta, GA) -- Former WMBB-TV Reporter Marc McAfee has joined this NBC affiliate as same. Welcome him at mmcafee@11alive.com

WSAV-TV (Savannah, GA) -- Former KHBS-TV Meteorologist Matt Devitt joins this NBC affiliate as same. Welcome him at mdevitt@wsav.com

WCTI-TV (New Bern, NC) -- News Director Shane Moreland is no longer at this station. He is now General Manager at WVNS-TV in West Virginia.

WZGC-FM (Atlanta, GA) -- After working here for three years, Program Director Scott Jameson has left the station.

WFLA-TV (Tampa, FL) -- This NBC affiliate has added a 7:00 p.m. weekday newscast. The half-hour show features local and regional news and weather with limited sports information. Jennifer Leigh (jleigh@wfla.com) will be the anchor along with another yet-to-be hired journalist. Daniel Woodrum (dwoodrum@wfla.com) is the Producer of the program.

WFTV-TV (Orlando, FL) -- Three-time News Director Bob Jordan, will be leaving this ABC affiliate. He returns to Seattle and KIRO-TV as the News Director after having also worked at KING-TV in Seattle previously. A replacement has not been named.

WAWS-TV/WTEV-TV (Jacksonville, FL) -- Tera Williams Barz (tbarz@actionnewsjax.com) has moved from Morning Anchor to a new time slot. She will now Anchor and be Franchise Reporter Monday-Friday 5:30 p.m., 10:00 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.

WCPO-TV (Cincinnati, OH) -- Multimedia Journalist Jessica Noll has left the station. Reporter Annette Peagler has also left. Peagler had served as a Weekend Morning Producer and Multimedia Journalist. The station has also recently lost Meteorologists Steve Norris and Cyndee O’Quinn, Producer Jeannine Gallenstein and News Director Bob Morford. During the span of her career, Lewis has also served at WPVI-TV in Philadelphia and KABC-TV in Los Angeles. As a side note, during her time in Los Angeles, Lewis also established herself as an actress, appearing in the film Rocky and television shows The Twilight Zone and The Gary Shandling Show.

WKOW-TV (Madison, WI) -- Assistant News Director Joe Radske has been promoted to News Director for this Quincy owned ABC affiliate. Radske replaces Perry Boxx who recently left the station.

Chicago Sun-Times (Chicago, IL) -- Columnist Stella Foster announced her retirement after 43 years at the daily. Foster’s last day at the paper is August 6th. Currently there are no plans to replace her; however, Editor-in-Chief Jim Kirk will be looking for additional ways to cover the African-American community.

ABC News - Chicago Bureau (Chicago, IL) -- National Correspondent Chris Bury is stepping down after 30 years at the network. During his broadcast career, Bury was inducted in the Illinois Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame in 2004.

The Arizona Republic (Phoenix, AZ) -- Jahna Berry has been named Assistant West Valley Editor at the paper. She will run the community pages for Surprise, AZ and Southwest Valley.  She has been with the paper since 2004 and was previously a Business Reporter.

Missoulian (Missoula, MT) -- The paper has hired Martin Kidston as a Higher Education Reporter.  Also at the paper, Sherry Devlin has been named Entertainment Editor.

KTVX-TV (Salt Lake City, UT) -- Kim Johnson has been brought on as Weekend Anchor at ABC-affiliate KTVX. Johnson joins the station from KLJB-TV in Iowa.

KLAS-TV (Las Vegas, NV) -- After 32 years with the CBS-affiliate, Gary Waddell is retiring from the anchor desk. He will still contribute on major events. A new morning anchor team has started with Cale Ramaker and Shauna Khorrami. Ramaker was previously at WOFL-TV in Orlando and Khorrami comes from KSTU-TV in Salt Lake City. Previous Morning Anchor Dayna Roselli is no longer with the station. Another new hire is Paul Joncich, who joins as an Anchor/Reporter. He comes from WOIO-TV in Cleveland.

KRNV-TV (Reno, NV) -- Alyx Sacks has joined the KRNV team. She spent the last year at NBC- Montana in Butte.

KBOI-TV/KYUU-TV (Boise, ID) -- Don Pratt is taking over as Vice President and General Manager at KBOI-KYUU, the television duopoly in Boise. Pratt was previously with Portland, OR station KATU-TV, where he has was Vice President and News Director. Send news to: news@kboi2.com.

The lawsuit is still pending.
