The Boston Globe (Boston, MA) --  Brian McGrory (mcgrory@globe.com) was named Editor of the paper. McGrory, a Columnist and former Metro Editor at the paper, has been at The Globe since 1989, starting off as the paper boy. McGrory is a Boston native. He attended Bates College and has worked for The New Haven Register and The Patriot Ledger. He succeeds Martin Baron. McGrory is also an author, having published his first non-fiction book. The Cabinet (Milford, NH) -- Michael Cleveland (mcleveland@cabinet.com) has become the paper’s Editor for the second time. He has also held positions here such as Copy Editor, Reporter, Freelance Writer and Editor.  He was hired at the paper in 1996, retiring in 2008 and returned to the paper in 2011 upon coming out of retirement.

WGME-TV (Portland, ME) -- Mimi Strawn is no longer the station’s News Director. She was employed here for two years.

WMUR-TV (Manchester, N.H.) -- This ABC affiliate welcomes Anchor Shelley Walcott. Walcott (swalcott@hearst.com) arrives from WTMJ-TV in Milwaukee, where she was a Reporter/Weekend Anchor. Montreal-born Walcott has also worked at WSYX-TV in Ohio; CJAD radio in Quebec; and CNN in Atlanta.

WTKK-FM (Boston, MA) -- Boston’s Doug Meehan says bye to the radio industry. The WTKK-FM (http://www.twitter.com/NewsTalk969) Host had been with the News/Talk station for a year.

WZRT-FM (Rutland, VT) -- Amber Huyghe (ahuyghe@catamountradio.com) was officially named Program Director here after taking over a few months ago for Kwame Dankwa. Huyghe will continue to be Music Director/Afternoon DJ as well. Dankwa, meanwhile, is now the Night DJ at KWNW-FM in Memphis.

WSB-TV (Atlanta, GA) -- There will be a line-up change in early 2013 at this ABC affiliate. Linda Stouffer (linda.stouffer@wsbtv.com) moves from Weekend Anchor to Weekday Morning Anchor, replacing Carol Sbarge. Sbarge (carol.sbarge@wsbtv.com) will join Anchor Fred Blankenship at noon while reporting for the early evening newscasts. Stouffer previously worked for CNN.

WWWQ-FM (Atlanta, GA) -- Congratulations to Morning DJ Jenn Hobby, who is pregnant with her first child. As a result, she is leaving the station.

WRVW-FM (Nashville, TN) -- Riley Couture (rileycouture@clearchannel.com) moves across the state as she leaves WHBQ-FM in Memphis to join "The River" in Nashville. She is a now a Morning DJ as well as handling voicetracks at night. 

WTVM-TV (Columbus, GA) -- News Director Tom Burke says goodbye to this ABC affiliate. He had been there for the past two years but wants to work on a screenplay. His resume includes stops in Sacramento, Fresno, Pittsburgh, and Columbus, OH, as well as Detroit, Greenville, NC, and Presque Isle, ME.

WBBJ-TV (Jackson, TN) -- After less than a year, News Director Keith Baker is leaving this ABC affiliate for a similar position at WOWK-TV in West Virginia. Baker can be reached at his new CBS affiliate at kbaker@wowktv.com. He replaces Elisabeth Shaffer (eshaffer@wowktv.com), who is now Assignment Manager at WOWK-TV.

WVEE-FM (Atlanta, GA) -- The famous duo of Frank Ski and Wanda Smith have left this Urban Contemporary station. The morning hosts had been with the station for 14 years.

WUBL-FM (Atlanta, GA) -- The Southeast is seeing its share of lay-offs in the Clear Channel cutbacks. One of the most recent is DJ Tim Michaels, who was let go from this country music station.

WTFM-FM (Kingsport, TN) -- Robert Honeycutt aka Bob Gordon starts the New Year as the new Program Director at this Adult Contemporary/Soft Rock station. He has also held positions at WKOS-FM, WJCW-FM, KISS-FM; WFHG-AM/FM, WETB-AM, WJSO-FM, WKIN-AM and WZXY-FM in his more than 40 year career.

WORD-AM (Greenville, SC) -- A little re-arranging is going on at this news/talk station. Anchor Russ Cassell (russ@entercom.com) will be able to sleep a little longer starting in 2013 as he moves from the 5-8am shift to the 8-noon shift. His former sidekick Lisa Rollins (lrollins@entercom.com) remains in the 5-8am slot but is now joined by former afternoon Anchor Lee Rogers (lrogers@entercom.com). The rescheduling is a result of the departure of former Anchor Mike Gallagher, who is now with rival WMUU-FM.

WOSF-FM (Charlotte, NC) -- Former WNOW-FM station is now Old School 105.3. Gaffney Broadcasting has changed the call letters to WOSF-FM. The old call letters, WNOW-FM, have gone to former New York City station, WXRK-FM.

WTVJ-TV (Miami, Florida) -- Shiri Spear (shiri.spear@foxtv.com) has left WTVJ in Miami to joined WFXT-TV in Boston.

WSVN-TV (Miami, Florida) -- Julie Durda (jdurda@wsvn.com) has left WSVN as Meteorologist. No replacement has been added.

Flying Magazine (Winter Park, Florida) -- Flying Magazine welcomes Bethany Whitfield (Bethany.whitfield@bonniercorp.com) as the new Managing Editor.

Waterski Magazine (Winter Park, Florida) -- Waterski Magazine welcomes Geena Krueger (genna.krueger@bonniercorp.com) as new Website Editor.

Florida Travel & Life Magazine (Winter Park, Florida) -- The new Photo Editor is Diana Rice (Diana.rice@bonniercorp.com).

Central Florida News (Orlando, FL) -- The Sunshine State welcomes Jeff Allen as a Reporter at CFN 13. Allen (jallen@cfnews13.com) arrives from WLEX-TV in Lexington, KY. Also scheduled to join the station is Kristin Kane. Kane (kkane@cfnews13.com) will handle Weekend Morning Anchor duties. She arrives from FOX-owned KRIV-TV in Houston.

WPAP-FM (Panama City, FL) -- While Clear Channel is laying off numerous personnel, in Panama City it has hired  veteran programmer Gary Nolan as the new Operations Manager for the cluster. He will also wear the Program Director/Afternoon DJ hats at Country music station WPAP-FM. Nolan joins from the company's Binghamton cluster.

KVUE-TV (Austin, TX) -- Shawn Clynch and Shannon Murray are joining KVUE-TV in Austin, Texas. Clynch covered sports at KOKH-TV and Murray comes from KOSA-TV.

KFSN-TV (Fresno, CA) -- Tommy Tran joins this ABC affiliate as Sports Director. Tran was previously with KYMA-TV in Yuma, AZ.

KUOW-FM (Seattle, WA) -- Bill Radke has come back to the news station as Morning Host. He was most recently an Anchor at KIRO-FM, and worked at KUOW from 1999 to 2004.

KING-TV – (Seattle, WA) -- Political Correspondent Robert Mak has resigned from the station following the cancellation of his Sunday political talk show “Up Front with Robert Mak.”  He was offered a position as Chief Political Reporter but decided to leave the station.

KATU-TV (Portland, OR) -- Investigative Reporter Thom Jensen has left this ABC affiliate after six years with the station.

KEPR-TV (Pasco, WA) – Anchor Whitney Ward is leaving the station for a job in Spokane.  Annie Andrews will replace Ward. Andrews was previously with KHGI-KWNB in Grand Island, NE.

KDRV-TV (Medford, OR) -- Dan Pope takes over as Chief Meteorologist at the ABC affiliate after Weathercasters Scott Lewis and Milt Radford left the station. Pope joined KDRV in October 2012.

KLAS (Las Vegas, NV) – Weekend Anchor Chris Saldana has announced his resignation from the CBS affiliate.
