Seneca Daily Journal (Seneca, SC) -- Brett McLaughlin has retired as Editor here but just cannot leave the paper entirely. He will continue to contribute to the paper during the election season. WBIR-TV (Knoxville, TN) -- Christy Moreno (cmoreno@wbir.com) has replaced Bill Shory as News Director here. The station had been without an ND for almost three months. Moreno arrives at this NBC-affiliate from San Antonio, where she worked as Assistant News Director at KENS-TV. Other stops on her career path include KRIV-TV and KPRC-TV.

WGXA-TV (Macon, GA) -- A new arrival at this station is General Assignment Reporter Aaron Leedy. Leedy (AaronLeedy@NewsCentralGA.com) moves from WLFI-TV in Indiana to this Fox station in Macon.

WYMT-TV (Hazard, KY) -- News Director Neil Middleton has replaced newly retired Ernestine Cornett as General Manager here. Taking over the ND role is Assistant News Director/Anchor Steven Hensley. WEMT-TV/WCYB-TV (Johnson City, TN) -- Veteran GM Jack Dempsey is jumping ship. He is leaving his long-time home of WJHL-TV in Johnson City to go to competitor stations, WEMT/WCYB. His title is now Vice President/General Manager. Dempsey (jdempsey@wcyb.com) had been with WJHL-TV for more than two decades.

WACH-TV (Columbia, SC) -- It's now official. Interim News Director Kevin Pazdernik (kpazdernik@wach.com) has been given the title of News Director. He had been in the interim role for approximately eight months after filling in for the departed Bryan Cox.  

WRBL-TV (Columbus, GA) -- Congratulations to Perry Boxx (pboxx@wrbl.com) on his new job as News Director at this CBS-affiliate. Boxx had been in the same position at WKOW-TV in Madison, WI, but wanted to move East to be near family. Boxx replaces a former co-worker in Steve Korioth. The two worked together in Wisconsin.

WBTW-TV (Myrtle Beach, SC) -- Speaking of Steve Korioth.....he is now at the beach. He is working as News Director at this coastal station. You can congratulate Korioth at skorioth@wbtw.com.

The Commercial Appeal (Memphis, TN) -- The Appeal (http://www.twitter.com/memphisnews) named George H. Cogswell, III Publisher. He arrives from the Ventura County Star (http://www.twitter.com/vcstar) and sister paper Oxnard Star in Cali.

WVLT-TV (Knoxville, TN) -- Reporter Sara Shookman left this Volunteer State station to return home to Ohio. She is now a Reporter with WKYC-TV in Cleveland.

WTHQ-AM/WMCD-FM (Paducah, KY/Statesboro, GA) -- Two southern radio stations have added home improvement show, "The Money Pit" to their line-up. WTHQ-AM in Paducah KY and WMCD-FM in Statesboro GA now air the program.

WXIA-TV (Atlanta, GA) -- Say good morning to Elle Duncan. She is the new Morning Traffic Reporter here, replacing Nick Vavas. Duncan arrives from Virginia.

WCCB-TV (Charlotte, NC) -- Kudos to former WCCB Assignment Editor Keith Conner as he obtains his first News Director position. He is now part of Thomas Broadcasting as ND of WOAY-TV in West Virginia. He replaces Scott Snider. 

Univision (Miami, FL) -- Univision promotes David Beck to Vice President and General Manager of Social Media. The move comes after Univision created a social media communications team in efforts to push participation in social media.

WFTS-TV (Tampa, FL) -- Investigative Reporter Alan Cohn was let go by this ABC affiliate.

WTXL-TV (Tallahassee, FL) -- La'Quinta Dixon takes the reins as News Director here. She previously worked as Producer at KENS-TV in San Antonio.

WDJT-TV (Milwaukee, WI) -- News Director Grant Uitii is leaving the Weigel owned CBS affiliate station.

WFLD-TV (Chicago, IL) -- Dionne Miller joins Fox O&O station as Weekend Sports Anchor. Miller comes from Fox Sports Ohio and the Big Ten Network where she served as Freelance Anchor/Reporter.
 
WKOW-TV (Madison, WI) -- News Director Perry Boxx is leaving the Quincy-owned ABC affiliate station to take on new opportunities.

WBBM-TV (Chicago, IL) -- Courtney Gousman has joined the CBS station as a Reporter. Gousman most recently served as a News Anchor and Reporter at KSDK-TV in St. Louis.

Time Out Chicago (Chicago, IL) -- Marcia Froelke Coburn joins the lifestyle magazine as a Contributing Writer. Coburn recently resigned from Chicago Magazine, where she served as an award winning Senior Editor and Writer.  

Michigan Avenue (Chicago, IL) -- J.P. Anderson has been named Editor-in-Chief of the lifestyle magazine. Anderson formerly served as Editor of the tourism monthly Where Chicago and Senior Editorial Director of parent company Morris Visitor Publications. He succeeds founding Editor Susanna Negovan, who previously left to rejoin Sun-Times Media.

KSHB-TV ( Kansas City, MO) -- Jenna Hanchard joins on as a Multimedia Journalist. She comes from WBNG-TV in Binghamton, NY.  Co-Hosts Michelle Davidson and Michael Mackie will anchor a new daytime show scheduled to begin in the summer.

KPTM-TV (Omaha, NE) --  Reporter Jonathan Athens leaves his position in Omaha.

Los Angeles Times - Sacramento Bureau (Sacramento, CA) -- Pulitzer Prize Investigative Journalist Paige St. John moves here from the Sarasota Herald-Tribune.

Albuquerque Journal (Albuquerque, NM) -- Michael Hartranft has been promoted to Assistant Business Editor. He will head the Money page that runs in the Sunday Journal edition. Kevin Robinson-Avila has been hired as Business Reporter. He was previously with the New Mexico Business Weekly and will cover energy issues, technology, venture capital and the Public Regulation Commission.

KPHO-TV (Phoenix, AZ) -- Adam Longo has accepted a position with KPHO in Phoenix as a Weekend Evening Anchor and Weekday Reporter, beginning August 27th. Longo previously worked at Orlando CBS-affiliate WKMG-TV as well as Central Florida News 13.

KNXV-TV (Phoenix, AZ) -- Afternoon Anchor Rebecca Thomas has left KNXV. She worked at the Phoenix ABC-affiliate for close to six years.

KTNV-TV (Las Vegas, NV) -- Evening Anchor Nina Radetich is resigning from KTNV to pursue new opportunities and spend more time with her family, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal. Radetich has been with the station since 2007. Weekend Anchor Tricia Kean will take over the weekday Evening Anchor position with Steve Wolford.
