WYFF-TV (Greenville, SC) -- Bruce Barkley (bbarkley@wyff4.com) adds another ND position to his resume as he joins this Hearst station. He has also been ND at WAPT-TV and WOLO-TV. He replaces Justin Antoniotti, who is now ND at WTAE-TV in Pittsburgh.

WATE-TV (Knoxville, TN) -- Drew Gardner (dgardner@wate.com) is the new Reporter at this ABC affiliate. He joins from WTVW-TV in Evansville, IN.

WLKY-TV (Louisville, KY) -- Assistant News Director Andrea Stahlman (astahlman@hearst.com) has been promoted to News Director here. She replaces Mike Neelly. .

WSOC-TV (Charlotte, NC) -- Sports Reporter Dan Tordjman has been let go after erroneously reporting that New York Yankee Second baseman Robinson Cano had tested positive for steroids.

WSTR-FM (Atlanta, GA) -- The Star has a new Morning DJ as Jimmy Alexander joins the station. He will share duties with Cindy Simmons. Simmons may be contacted at cindy@star94.com. Alexander's email had not been set up as of press time.

WRAL-TV (Raleigh, NC) -- Veteran Reporter Erin Hartness has left the broadcasting business to work at Duke University. Replacing her is Leyla Santiago. Santiago (lsantiago@wral.com) arrives cross-country from KBAK-TV in Bakersfield, CA.

WPTY-TV (Memphis, TN) -- The public has spoken and Anchor Cameron Harper (charper@myeyewitnessnews.com) has been awarded a multi-year contract.

WKYT-TV (Lexington, KY) -- General Manager Chris Mossman will be moving from WITN-TV in N.C. to another Gray Television station in Lexington, KY to replace retiring GM Wayne Martin. American News (Aberdeen, SD) -- Dave Vilhauer is the new Assistant Sports Editor at the paper, replacing the recently retired Ron Feickert.  Vilhauer was previously a Sports Writer with the paper.

Missoula Independent (Missoula, MT) -- The paper has named Skylar Browning Executive Editor. He takes over for Robert Meyerowitz. Browning’s previous role with the paper was as a Contributing Editor.

New Mexico Business Weekly (Albuquerque, NM) -- Joe Renaud has been named as the new Editor-in-Chief at the publication. He was previously Web Editor for the publication. Also, Rachel Sams has been named Managing Editor here.

KSOP-AM (Salt Lake City, UT) -- The station has promoted Jim Mickelson to the role of Program Director. He was previously the Assistant Program Director at this country music station.

KRWM-AM (Seattle, WA) -- Mark Christopher has been brought on as the Host of the station’s morning show. He was most recently with KVI-AM, also in Seattle.

KELO-TV (Sioux Falls, SD) -- Sammi Bjelland has replaced Angela Kennecke as an Evening Anchor. Kennecke will be taking on a new role as Business Editor. Bjelland comes to KELO from KEYC-TV the Mankato, MN.


KOMO-TV (Seattle, WA) -- Joel Connable is joining Seattle ABC affiliate KOMO as a Reporter and Weekend Anchor. The former WTJV-TV Anchor was most recently with Travel TV News. KOMO has also hired Jeff Burnside to be its Senior Investigative Reporter.  He arrives from WTVJ-TV in Miami.

KIRO-TV (Seattle, WA) --Meteorologist Rebecca Stevenson has left the station.

KNXV-TV (Phoenix, AZ) -- Kevin Curran has joined KNXV as Assignment Editor. She was previously with  KPNX, also in Phoenix.

KPHO-TV (Phoenix, AZ) -- Adam Longo has joined KPHO in Phoenix as a Reporter and Weekend Anchor. He was previously with Central Florida News in Orlando.

KVVU-TV (Las Vegas, NV) -- Heidi Hayes, Morning Anchor at the station, officially left the station on October 5 after 14 years with the station. She will be replaced by Stefanie Jay, a General Assignment Reporter at the station, and John Dabkovich, who is joining from KBAK-TV in Bakersfield, CA.

KOLD-TV/KMSB-TV (Tucson, AZ) -- Paige Hansen has been promoted to Weekend Evening Anchor at the station. She has been with the station since 2011.

Univision Network (Miami,FL) -- Massive layoffs at Univision's Contacto Deportivo. Art Izquierdo, Pedro Pontillo, Daniel Vinas, Juan Domingo Chacoff, Arturo Polo and Illeana Chacon are just some of the talent that was let go.

Univision Network - Despierta America (Miami,FL) -- Alan Tacher has joined the morning crew as a Co-host at Despierta America.

Telemundo - Hablemos Claro con Cuauhtémoc (Miami,FL) -- Carlos Cuauhtemoc Sanchez has been given his own talk show concentrating on real life issues.

ESPN Deportes (New York, NY) -- ESPN Deportes has a new show for the soccer lovers. "Capitales del futbol" will be focusing on some of the major soccer towns. Argentinian director Juan Jose Campanella is behind the camera for this series that explores the passion of fans in Barcelona, Bogota, Manchester, Mexico City and São Paulo.

ESPN Deportes - WGST-AM (Atlanta,GA) -- ESPN Deportes joins the airwaves in Atlanta taking over this former news talk radio station.

Univision - Noticias 21 - KFTV-TV (Fresno,CA) -- Univision has named Angela Navarrete as General Manager for Univision Radio.

Univision - KQBU-FM - Que Buena 97.5 FM (El Paso,TX) -- Univision has named Luis Villareal as General Manager for Univision Radio.

Univision - KXLN-TV (Houston, TX) -- Raul Peimbert will be the new Anchor at Noticias 45.

The Toronto Star (Toronto, ON) -- The Star, one of Canada's most read newspapers, is building a paywall so only subscribers can get all of its content. It joins the national newspaper, Globe and Mail, who earlier this month built its own paywall for subscribers only. PostMedia (Vancouver Sun, Ottawa Citizen) started this trend of paying for content in Canada earlier this year.
