WATER COUNTRY USA IS READY
TO ROCK 'N' ROLL IN 2008

WILLIAMSBURG WATER PARK UNVEILS NEW AREA

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (May 08, 2008) /PRNewswire/—A tidal wave of change has washed over Water Country USA with the water park's newest addition, "Rock 'n' Roll Island." Featuring four slides, a lazy river and a large refreshing pool themed after 1950s and '60s rock-and-roll culture, Rock 'n' Roll Island offers thrills and excitement for the whole family.

A 33-foot-tall "Jammin' Juke Box" slide tower juts skyward at the far edge of the island. Three translucent body slides shoot from the top of the structure, each named after a popular rock-and-roll dance – the "Funky Chicken," the "Hully Gully" and the "Twist." The slides twist and turn for nearly 200 feet before spilling riders into a 9,000-square-foot pool. For the little ones, Rock 'n' Roll Island features a new "Little Bopper" children's slide.

More than half of Rock 'n' Roll Island's pool is reserved for swimming and relaxing. Guests also can float with the current in the 700-foot-long lazy river that surrounds the island.

"The addition of Rock 'n' Roll Island continues Water Country USA's commitment of providing thrills and excitement at the mid-Atlantic's largest water park. Combined with the other world-class attractions at the park, Water Country USA offers something for everyone in the family," said John Reilly, general manager and executive vice president of Water Country USA.

Guest can enjoy Rock 'n' Roll Island when Water Country USA opens for the season May 10.
