The Newest Six Flags Species of Fear Unleashed!

Six Flags Magic Mountain Produces Another Monster For Its Unequaled Coaster Dynasty

— TATSU —

The Tallest, Longest and Fastest Flying coaster on the Planet!

May 11, 2006 - Celebrating 45 years of thrills, Six Flags Magic Mountain unleashes another monster addition to its supreme coaster dynasty with the launch of TATSU - a "flying beast" soaring into the record books as the tallest, fastest and longest flying coaster on Planet Earth!

This new species of fear opens to the public Saturday, May 13.

The myth and legend of the great Japanese dragon TATSU comes to life when fearless riders board its wings and fly at the speed of fear! Aboard TATSU, riders ascend 170-feet and fly at speeds in excess of 62 miles-per-hour on a never-been-done-before completely integrated flight pattern - up, down, over and through the Park's distinct mountainous terrain in a unique "horizontal to earth" flying position.
