7 COUPLES TOOK THE PLUNGE AT 7 A.M. ON TATSU AT SIX FLAGS MAGIC MOUNTAIN ON THE MOST POPULAR WEDDING DAY OF THE CENTURY!

Valencia, CA · July 07, 2007 / PRNewswire / – Easily the most sought-after wedding date of the century, seven lucky couples took the plunge and tied the knot at 7 a.m. today on TATSU, the tallest, fastest and longest flying coaster on the Planet, at Six Flags Magic Mountain. Dressed in traditional wedding attire, 7 brides and 7 grooms said their "I Do's" while flying on Tatsu. Family, friends, confetti and Looney Tunes characters greeted the just-married couples on their arrival back to the wedding-themed station.

Six Flags Magic Mountain treated the couples to a wedding of their dreams, including a licensed officiant, champagne brunch reception, custom-made wedding cake, wedding bands, flowers and complimentary photos. In addition, one lucky couple won a seven-day honeymoon vacation at any of the 20 Bluegreen Resorts located throughout the U.S.

"Every couple wants their wedding day to be memorable," said Del Holland, Six Flags Magic Mountain park president. "The national demand to be married on July 7, 2007 inspired us to create this fun event. As many traditional chapels and other formal venues were already booked, getting married in a unique and spectacular fashion, on our newest coaster, was a concept many couples felt was a truly special way to celebrate."

The couples who tied the knot early today were from the Southern California area and each had a unique story attached to Six Flags Magic Mountain. Whether they met or had their first date at the park or were engaged at Six Flags, each love story was tied to Six Flags Magic Mountain. All the couples selected today to get married on Tatsu felt getting married at Six Flags Magic Mountain reflects the reality of marriage: lots of ups and downs and twists and turns – but always a lot of fun!

Six Flags Magic Mountain joined 12 other Six Flags parks in a national event, "Thrilled Ever After - A Wedding to Remember," where each park hosted seven couples to be married beginning at 7 a.m.
