154 Commercial Real Estate Professionals Earn the Distinctive CCIM Designation Candidates sat for the Institute's Comprehensive Exam in Chicago and Tokyo, Japan, last week.
CHICAGO, April 23, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- CCIM Institute (www.ccim.com), one of the largest commercial real estate networks in the world, has awarded 154 commercial real estate professionals the prestigious CCIM designation. During the organization's Midyear Business Meetings in Chicago last week, 137 candidates sat for the Comprehensive Exam and earned their pin. In addition, 17 commercial real estate professionals passed the exam on April 19 in Tokyo, Japan.
The CCIM designation is earned by commercial real estate professionals who complete more than 200 hours of case-study driven education covering topics such as ethics, interest-based negotiation, financial analysis, market analysis, user decision analysis, and investment analysis for commercial investment real estate. Candidates must also compile a portfolio demonstrating the depth of their commercial real estate experience and pass a comprehensive examination.
