
18 New York City Doctors with Exemplary Medical Credentials Join to Form Medhattan Immediate Medical Care

NEW YORK, Oct. 25, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Medhattan Immediate Medical Care, whose urgent care clinic will open November 1 in Lower Manhattan, today named 18 New York doctors as its partner-physicians.
Leading the medical staff are co-founders Leslie Miller, M.D., and Alicia Salzer, M.D. Dr. Miller has more than 20 years of experience as a hospital-based administrator, clinician and teacher in some of New York City and the tri-state area's busiest emergency rooms. A cum laude graduate of Harvard University, she obtained her M.D. degree and completed an Emergency Medicine Residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Her primary administrative focus has been on implementing new clinical standards and quality improvement. She has published scholarly articles on the topics of emergency cardiology and cervical spine trauma.
Dr. Salzer is a graduate of University of Pennsylvania and Cornell Medical College. She completed a psychiatric residency at Harbor UCLA Hospital in Los Angeles. Dr. Salzer volunteered at Ground Zero and later worked full time at a Mount Sinai hospital-based clinic for Ground Zero rescue workers and volunteers. She also worked as the Director of Aftercare and on-screen trauma expert for the Montel Williams show. Dr. Salzer is the author of the self-improvement book "Back To Life: Getting Past Your Past With Resilience, Strength, and Optimism."

Osman Sayan, M.D., a Princeton graduate who is widely published and is currently the assistant director of the emergency medicine residency program at Columbia New York Presbyterian Hospital.
Chris Ingram, M.D., a Columbia Presbyterian medical school graduate, spent time in Kosovo working with the French Red Cross opening a hospital for the Serbian population. Dr. Ingram worked at the Iran-Iraq border caring for Kurdish refugees exiled from Kurdistan and provided medical care to famine victims in Somalia.
Tommy Wong, M.D., a Yale graduate, is currently the assistant residency director of the Emergency Medicine residency program at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital.
Craig Mochson, M.D., an NYU trained emergency medicine physician, has served as the Medical Coordinator for Guyana Watch, a medical outreach program that provides healthcare in rural Guyana. He helped coordinate open heart surgery in India for 17 South American children who could not obtain the care they needed in their own country.
Marc Borenstein, M.D. has been Chairman of the Emergency Department and Residency Director at Newark Beth Israel Hospital and Vice Chair of the Emergency Medicine Department at St Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital in New York and is also a senior examiner for the American Board of Emergency Medicine.
Nicole Bouchard, M.D. is the assistant site director of the Emergency Department at New York Presbyterian Columbia University Medical Center and is the director of toxicology.
Eric Nazziola, M.D. has been director and chairman of the Emergency Departments of St John's Episcopal Hospital in Far Rockaway and Wilkes Barre General Hospital in Pennsylvania as well as assistant site director of the Emergency Department at New York Presbyterian Columbia University Medical Center.
