2011 National Ergonomics Conference Will Open in Las Vegas With a Sold Out Exhibit Hall, Hewlett Packard, NIOSH and VPPPA Leaders to Keynote
LAS VEGAS, Nov. 21, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The 17th Annual National Ergonomics Conference and Exposition (ErgoExpo) will be at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, November 29 – December 2. "This year's conference will highlight what smart business leaders already know, that ergonomics isn't about regulations, it's a time-tested means of reducing injuries and workers' comp costs, boosting productivity, and growing the bottom line," commented Walter Charnizon, President of Continental Exhibitions, Inc., owners/producers of ErgoExpo. ErgoExpo's core educational topics of safety, return on investment, and the aging workforce will be coupled with workplace specific conference tracks for office, industrial, lab, healthcare, 24/7 and uncontrolled environments including energy, utility, and maintenance work.
Attendees from nearly all of the 50 states and a dozen foreign countries have pre-registered, including ergonomics and safety leaders from Boeing, Chevron, Intel, John Deere, Kaiser Permanente, Liberty Mutual, Mayo Clinic, NASA, Raytheon, Rolls Royce, the US Armed Forces, and numerous municipal and state government agencies.
Attendees will have a wide variety of products to evaluate at the Expo, including 21 new products nominated for the 10th Annual ErgoExpo Attendees' Choice Awards program. Attendees vote for the product they believe offers the best opportunity to increase productivity and profitability while improving workplace health and safety. Winners will be announced on Dec. 1 during a reception and ceremony in the exhibit hall, Forum Ballroom, at 5:30 PM.
