Students Face the 1,000 Word Film Challenge Red Bicycle Media to Produce a Short Film Based on Winner's Short Story
TWINSBURG, Ohio, June 26, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Red Bicycle Media is hosting the 1,000 Word Film Challenge to involve high school students in a creative writing contest where the winner's script is turned into a short film.
Students entering 9th through 12th grade are eligible to submit their 1,000 word short story online at www.1000wordfilm.com by August 1st, 2013. Stories must be between 500 and 1,000 words and a bicycle must be incorporated somewhere into the story. One winner will be selected by a panel of judges on September 1st, 2013 and Red Bicycle Media will produce a short film based on their story. Other prizes to be announced at a later date.
