TeleTracking Growth Spurs Management Hires Healthcare automation leader adds new COO, CTO, SVP/HR for larger healthcare role

Watson, Tetzlaff, Young get senior posts

PITTSBURGH, March 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Following another year of strong growth, TeleTracking Technologies  has named Diane Watson as Chief Operating Officer, Joseph Tetzlaff as Chief Technology Officer and Keith Young as Senior Vice President of Human Resources, company president Michael Gallup announced today. 

The new executives share backgrounds with healthcare and information technology firms that have transitioned from entrepreneurial startups to large, thriving businesses, a path TeleTracking is now travelling.

As COO, Ms. Watson brings information technology management and consulting experience from roles at MEDRAD, Bayer Healthcare and most recently new startup Tilt, in Raleigh, NC. Mr. Tetzlaff has held CIO and CTO positions at several United Health Group subsidiaries, and most recently was CIO at inVentiv Health, Inc. – Clinical.  Mr. Young joins TeleTracking from MEDRAD (now Bayer Healthcare), where he helped the entrepreneurial medical device maker grow into a two-time recipient of the Malcolm Baldrige Award. 

The patient flow category creator and KLAS category leader in seven of the past eight years, TeleTracking has been expanding to other areas of hospital automation via product development and acquisition. Recently, it offered the industry an enterprise-wide, automated healthcare operations management platform that reduces wasted time and adds revenue by monitoring virtually all phases of daily operations to keep the hospital enterprise running efficiently.

While at MEDRAD, Ms. Watson held a variety of positions including CIO, General Manager of Multi-Vendor Service business unit, and General Manager of Cardiology Diagnostic Imaging business unit.  She was the 2006 recipient of the Pittsburgh Technology Council's CIO of the Year Award.  Previously, she was an associate partner with Anderson Consulting in Pittsburgh. 

At inVentiv Health, Mr. Tetzlaff was responsible for technology across the firm's Clinical Division and developed/maintained applications to support Clinical Trial processes as well as acquisition integrations. Before joining InVentiv, he was CIO at the Ingenix subsidiary of United Health Group and CTO of i3, another UHG subsidiary. Prior to that, he held positions as CTO at WK Health and Ovid Technologies, Inc. 

In 16 years with MEDRAD, Mr. Young developed a track record for leading HR and cultural change, exemplified by the successful development of numerous best practice Human Resource programs.  Other responsibilities at MEDRAD included talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, mergers and acquisitions, and talent management.  He previously held similar positions at Pillsbury, Inc., and Kraft Foods a division of Phillip Morris
