Changes include new management, branded redesign, and traffic quality controls
NEW YORK, Sept. 24, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- 2Blue Media Group has a new life. After restructuring earlier this year with new management, the company has pulled the curtain back on its 37 refreshed lifestyle websites that include 2Blue branding, a brightened new look, and traffic filtering systems in place.

The 2Blue verticals are: fashion, fitness, health, food, home, travel, finance, technology, music, movies, and TV.
Earlier this year, Jeffrey Mahl, formerly president of Grandparents.com and senior vice president at ESPN, joined 2Blue as Chief Executive Officer. Mahl brought on Susan Avery, a veteran journalist who's worked at New York magazine, The New York Times, and AOL, naming her the 2Blue Editor-in-Chief. Also joining the company are Christopher Grass as the Chief Revenue Officer and Jen Tao, Vice President, Advertising Operations. Grass is a 15-year veteran of digital advertising sales with expertise in health, parenting, and the women's lifestyle arena. Tao has built multiple operations teams from ground up at Ask.com, Bebo, Velti, and MOG Music Network.
All five execs agreed that the first order of business was threefold: to redesign the websites, upgrade the content, and add traffic quality controls.
Beginning in October, 2Blue sites will have a nationwide team of seasoned journalists producing original content. Furthermore, the company developed a comprehensive document called the 2Blue Editorial Rules of the Road, which provides a solid foundation for journalistic hygiene that each writer must follow.
Additionally, each site will have carefully vetted, high-quality partners for content shares to add additional heft to its offerings. Commitments have already been received from ConsequenceofSound.net for modern music content, Techlicious for cutting-edge technology content, with many more on the way.
The company is also a member of the Interactive Advertising Bureau's (IAB) quality assurance group, as well as subscribers to Adometry and WhiteOps, industry standard traffic quality filtering companies, and ComScore, the leader in digital metrics.
But wait, there's more!
In the next few months, 2Blue will relaunch again! The company will consolidate its websites into the following 10 branded verticals: 2BlueFashion, 2BlueBeauty, 2BlueFinance, 2BlueHome, 2BlueFood, 2BlueTech, 2BlueHealth, 2BlueEntertainment, 2BlueParents, and 2BlueTravel. This second phase will include a dramatic redesign and bolder branding elements throughout the pages.
