2ND AM ARMS Lower Receivers from $50 - Support the 2nd Amendment Forged or Billet 80% Lower Receivers for AR10 and AR15
TAMPA BAY AREA, Fla., Aug. 26, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- 2ND AM ARMS support the 2nd Amendment. They are a rapid prototyping firearm parts & accessories manufacturer, begun with the goal of spreading the use of our 2nd Amendment rights.
2ND AM ARMS are the first project on RocketHub to successfully fund the creation and setup of a machine shop, through the design and production of their own 80% lower receivers. In order to scale up production 2ND AM ARMS are offering 80% AR10 and AR15 Lowers from $50 to those who support their project. 80% lower receivers are not classified as firearms by the BATF and can be shipped directly to your address. You will also be supporting the Second Amendment by reinforcing your inalienable right to "keep and bear arms". 2ND AM ARMS currently offer forged or billet aluminum 7075-T6 AR15 and AR10 80% lower receivers and will be developing a lower receiver to accommodate the .22 caliber.
In addition to their bespoke AR lower receivers, 2ND AM ARMS are developing a range of jigs to assist in the completion of the 80% lowers. Their standard jig for either the AR10 or AR15 will come with top plates that allow for the pre-drilling of the trigger group pocket and the fire control area using a drill-press. While their "Multi-Jig" will allow the user to complete both their AR15 and AR10 lowers using the same jig. Both the standard jig and the Multi-Jig will be offered with two optional top plates. 1. Their "Precision Plate" which will eliminate any wandering drill-bits when drilling and milling the hole for the trigger in the bottom of the pocket. 2. The "Router Plate" which will allow the user to complete the conversion from 80% using just a table router - therefore eliminating the need for a drill-press. 2ND AM ARMS currently consists of Eric Pine and Ben Matanle. Their established open-source rapid prototyping shop was begun with the intention of fostering the growth of an innovations community. Eric has extensive experience in Electronic Engineering and Information Technology, including designing and building a jet simulator for preflight instruction on the L39 Fighter Jet trainer. Ben is a former member of the British Armed Forces and has education in Digital Multimedia and Design. Both Eric and Ben support the Second Amendment,
"The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed".
