Tax lien investors and servicers, attorneys, investment bankers, and government officials will gather discuss the remaining challenges, lessons to be learned, and plans of action. Open panel discussions will provide insight from public sector officials, examining the financial and indirect benefits of tax lien sales for local governments.
All attendees will convene for the one day of meetings, roundtables, and panel discussions, where featured speakers will address topics such as new tax lien legislation, tax loans versus tax liens, and lending standards. In addition, a networking reception will be held at the RARE View Rooftop Bar & Grill, on top of the Hilton NY Fashion District Hotel on October 16th.
The conference is open to both members and nonmembers, and will attract the most prominent and influential professionals, companies, and government officials in the tax lien industry.
The National Tax Lien Association was incorporated in 1997 and is the largest nonprofit organization of its kind, providing its members with professional and educational resources and representing their collective interests. The NTLA is dedicated to establishing positive relationships with government officials involved in the tax lien process, recognizing the significant contributions tax lien investors provide to local government infrastructure and budgeting, and maintaining a code of ethics and standards for the tax lien industry.
Tax lien professionals help fund public services each year by purchasing billions of dollars in delinquent property taxes from local governments in exchange for a modest return on their investment. The association is headquartered in Tequesta, Florida, with Brad Westover serving as its executive director. The association can be reached via its website at www.thentla.com, or by calling (561) 449-2484.
