AIX-EN-PROVENCE, France, September 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Twinlinx a leading provider of innovative NFC technology announced today that following a recent cooperation with Microsoft France, its MyMax(R) NFC sticker is now running with the new Windows(R) phone planned for release on October 6th this year. The development also ensures backwards compatibility with the earlier Windows mobile 6.1 version.

MyMax(R) is a thin electronic sticker designed to upgrade existing and future Bluetooth phones with NFC functionality therefore opening up the way for the rapid market development and mass deployment of NFC applications including payment, transport, loyalty, access control, and smart posters.

NFC has attracted a great deal of interest over the last few years with many pilots being run throughout the world, however the market adoption is not moving due to the lack of NFC phones and mature applications, even if we believe the forecasts of 20% penetration by 2012-2013, it will not be sufficient for a mass roll-out said Steve Lewis, Twinlinx VP marketing.
