Open Letter released to pro-life leaders entitled: "Virtual Protest?! Cheap Gimmicks and Cyber Space Wastes of Time: See For Yourself Why we are Losing the War to End Child-killing..."

WASHINGTON, Oct. 6 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The following was released today by Randall Terry, Director, Operation Rescue Insurrecta Nex:

A pro-life organization recently sent out a press release, promoting a "virtual protest." The press release stated, "[I] supported the effort by working to activate the grassroots though the I AM 71 virtual protest in which everyone could easily participate." (emphasis added)

Mr. Terry states:

"A 'virtual protest'?! How would you feel if your house was on fire and 'virtual fire fighters' or a 'virtual EMT' were sent to your rescue in an e-mail? If you were dying of starvation, would you be satisfied by a 'virtual meal' sent to you in an e-mail?

"Imagine if Dr. Martin Luther King had suggested a 'virtual march' across the Edmund Pettus Bridge or 'virtual freedom rides' through the South.
