ACC Commends Congressman Simpson for Supporting Economic Growth and Job Creation

WASHINGTON, Aug. 5, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Today, the American Chemistry Council (ACC) launched advertisements commending Congressman Mike Simpson for his support of policies that will grow the economy and create jobs in the Gem State.

"As representatives of one of America's largest manufacturing industries, ACC and its members want to acknowledge Congressman Simpson's leadership on issues that encourage strong domestic energy policy, support small businesses and promote rational, science-based chemical regulation—policies that will foster innovation, stimulate our economy and put people in the state and across the country in good-paying jobs," explained Cal Dooley, President and CEO of ACC.

Dooley added, "In a time when so much of the political discourse in America is negative, it's important to highlight the positive work Congressman Simpson is doing to promote the two most important issues facing our country – economic growth and job creation."

The advertisements will run in several media markets, including Boise and Idaho Falls, for three weeks and will encourage constituents to contact the Congressman's office to tell him to keep up the good work.
