ACC Commends Congresswoman Capito For Supporting Economic Growth And Job Creation

WASHINGTON, Nov. 6, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Today, the American Chemistry Council (ACC) launched advertisements commending Congresswoman Shelley Moore Capito for her support of policies that support U.S. energy production, grow the economy and create jobs in the Mountain State.

"Congresswoman Capito has been a strong advocate for sound domestic energy policy, which is of vital importance to the people of West Virginia, as well as ACC and its members.  ACC represents one of America's largest manufacturing industries, so we support these policies that will promote the growth and creation of good-paying energy jobs that benefit the economy of West Virginia and the nation as a whole," explained Cal Dooley, President and CEO of ACC.

Dooley added, "In a time when so much of the political discourse in America is negative, it's important to highlight the positive work Congresswoman Capito is doing to promote some of the most important issues facing our country – energy security, economic growth and job creation."

The advertisements will run in several media markets throughout the second district of West Virginia for three weeks and will encourage constituents to contact the Congresswoman's office to tell her to keep up the good work.
