WILMINGTON, Del., Nov. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Without collaboration, there can be no technology transfer. Without technology transfer, innovation will wither and die on the vine.

The New Jersey Technology Council and supporting organizations from the Mid-Atlantic Commercialization Consortium, determined not to allow that to happen here, will focus on the topic of commercializing technologies at the Regional Commercialization Conference set for Dec. 10 at Potter Anderson & Corroon LLP, 1313 N. Market St., Wilmington, Del.

The conference will bring together an invited audience of university tech transfer officers, entrepreneurs and investors to present and hear presentations of technologies on the commercially ready pathway.

The Mid-Atlantic Commercialization Consortium is comprised of industry, university and economic development representatives of New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware and New York. The purpose of the Consortium is to build capacity in the region and accelerate and improve the region's technology transfer and commercialization potential.

Panels will focus on the topics of investment, featuring venture capitalists, angel investors, and license/business development officers, who will discuss what they look for from very early stage technology and life science companies. Additionally, early stage innovators will have the opportunity to showcase their technologies.
