Standardization sets AccuGenomics apart in gene expression testing. (CGI), a leader in the personalization of cancer treatment. CGI will offer the test in their CLIA lab as a CLIA approved test in early 2012. It accurately monitors treatment efficiency in CML patients previous diagnosed with a BCR-ABL fusion gene event. CML is not currently curable but can be controlled with established conventional drug therapies in most patients. Accurate measurements of BCR-ABL fusion transcript are critical to managing CML in those patients who have advanced to accelerated and blast phases as a result of poor response to treatment.
