Those identified by an NFL Extra Points street team member as wearing an official NFL Extra Points mask will have a chance to win a pair of tickets to Super Bowl XLVII or other prizes.
On Thursday, January 31, Adam Vinatieri will 'kick off' the NFL Extra Points Challenge at the NFL Experience Driven by GMC inside the New Orleans Convention Center. Vinatieri will lace up his cleats for the last time this season and attempt to award one million NFL Extra Points (in the form of a $10,000 cash donation) to the Brees Dream Foundation-- a not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of cancer patients. During the challenge, Vinatieri will attempt to kick NFL footballs from 25-yards and hit designated targets positioned inside a regulation NFL goalpost. A total of 1,000,000 NFL Extra Points will be awarded to the Brees Dream Foundation if Vinatieri hits all three of the targets.
