AeroMech Engineering, Inc., Builder of Unmanned Air Systems, Gets New President and CEO
SAN LOUIS OBISPO, Calif., March 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Mr. James "Jay" McConville has been named President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of AeroMech Engineering, Inc. (AME). The announcement was made today by Jesse May, President and CEO of Chandler/May, Inc., the parent company of AME. Thomas Akers, founder and current CEO, will serve as AME's Chairman of the Board.
In making the announcement Mr. May said: "Jay is the right executive to move AME into the promising future it has secured due to the work of Thomas Akers and the entire AME team. Jay and Thomas will work together to ensure that our customers continue to receive our high-quality support now and into the future."

At Chandler/May, Mr. McConville served as Vice President for Strategy and Business Development. Prior to joining Chandler/May, he was the Vice President of Reconnaissance and Surveillance within a major defense integrator, directing over $300M per year in business. He is also a former Army Intelligence Officer who served with the 1st Cavalry Division during Desert Shield and Desert Storm, among other assignments.
Mr. McConville has a Bachelor of Science from George Mason and a Master of Science in Strategic Intelligence from the Defense Intelligence College, Washington, DC.
