Parties Reach Agreement on Number of Issues; Staff, Office of Consumers' Counsel Recommend Public Utilities Commission Approval

COLUMBUS, Ohio, Dec. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- On Tuesday (Dec. 8), Verizon Communications, Frontier Communications Corporation, the staff of the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio and the Office of the Ohio Consumers' Counsel, along with Cincinnati Bell Extended Territories, LLC, reached agreement on a number of issues related to the transfer of Verizon's landline operations in the state to Frontier. A separate agreement was reached with Comcast Phone Ohio, LLC. The agreements, which have been filed with the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio, include a number of terms agreed to by the parties. The PUCO staff and OCC recommend that the commission adopt the agreements.
