AIAG Adds Nissan North America Executive Guy Wagner to Its Board of Directors
SOUTHFIELD, Mich., March 30, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Guy Wagner, director of purchasing administration, cost management and strategy for Nissan North America, has joined the board of directors of AIAG, the organization announced today. AIAG is a not-for-profit, member-supported organization that works with a wide range of manufacturing companies and service providers to help them operate at peak performance.
"As AIAG focuses on helping manufacturers more effectively manage the complexity and depth of supply chain issues, we are pleased to add a talented and experienced professional like Guy to our board of directors," said J. In addition to his purchasing duties, Wagner also leads Nissan North America's supplier relations and diversity initiatives. Prior to his current position at Nissan, Wagner served as supplier account manager and senior manager in the powertrain division, where his team managed the purchase of engine and transmission components for all NAFTA operations. Wagner joined Nissan in 2010 after 14 years with Toyota, holding a variety of leadership positions in purchasing and corporate strategy.
Wagner holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Centre College and a master's degree in international business from Xavier University.
