Albemarle Corporation to Update Investors on Current Business Trends at the Bank of America-Merrill Lynch 2009 Global Industries Conference
BATON ROUGE, La., Dec. 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Albemarle Corporation (NYSE: ALB) announced today that Mark C. Rohr, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, will give a presentation at the Bank of America-Merrill Lynch 2009 Global Industries Conference in New York, on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at 11:25 a.m. ET.

In his remarks to investors and analysts, Rohr will provide an update on Albemarle's current business trends as well as future growth strategies. "Through the second half of 2009, we have seen a slow and steady recovery in most of the markets we serve. Those positive trends are continuing through the fourth quarter, including in the consumer electronics market, where we were expecting some weakness as we entered the quarter," said Rohr. This presentation will serve as the Company's fourth quarter update.
