American Express wins big again in "Canada's Choice" Travel Rewards Credit Cards rankings for 2012

Rewards Canada announces results of the second annual rankings as chosen by Canadians.

MARKHAM, ON, Nov. 8, 2012 /CNW/ - American Express Canada comes out on top once again in the second annual Rewards Canada Top Travel Rewards Credit Cards rankings as chosen by Canadians. American Express Cards were chosen as the top picks in four out of five categories. This comes a few months after Rewards Canada announced, for the fourth year in a row, its own top picks for Canada's Top Travel Rewards Credit Cards.

The rankings are a result of a 30 day voting period in September and October 2012, where over 3,300 Canadians voted for their favourite cards in 5 different categories.  American Express Cards were ranked number one in four out of five categories, including:

• American Express AIR MILES Platinum Card as Canada's Choice for Travel Points Credit Card (with annual fee)
• American Express AIR MILES Credit Card as Canada's Choice for Travel Points Credit Card (with no annual fee)
• American Express Gold Rewards Card as Canada's Choice for Top Hybrid Travel Credit Card (with annual fee)
• The Starwood Preferred Guest Credit Card from American Express as Canada's Choice for Top Hotel Credit Card
