Predicted Increase in Florida Foreclosures in 2010 Prompts Attorneys to Add Foreclosure Defense to Their Practices

SARASOTA, Fla., Jan. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- One in 17 homes fell into foreclosure in Florida in 2009, giving the Sunshine State the dubious distinction of having the second-highest number of foreclosure filings in the country, according to market researcher RealtyTrac. The trend does not appear to be fading in 2010, either. Analysts believe unemployment and adjustable rate mortgages scheduled to recast this year will push a massive supply of delinquent loans into the foreclosure process.
