An Inspirational Christmas Lesson: Professor Presti Learns from Pope

NEW YORK, Dec. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- I Wanna Be On®, the pioneering social research network and production company, has launched Reel 2 Life to explore the inspirational side of news stories, celebrity trends, and all forms of pop culture phenomena.

Reel 2 Life seeks to establish a robust community of individuals and small business owners who have extracted a positive message from the media. Currently, Reel 2 Life is assembling and reviewing video clips and other story materials to post on the Reel2Life Blog. Eventually, Reel 2 Life will produce documentary programming that contains and evaluates empowering media messages.

"I Wanna Be On® was founded on the principle of 'empowerment media', that is, the company was always committed to explore and develop programming to empower individuals to overcome personal and professional limitations," according to Professor Vincent Presti.

I Wanna Be On® had previously produced two documentaries, I Wanna Be On: Law v. Dream and Reality Faith, that contained inspirational messages about how Professor Presti's students used their media ambitions and personal faiths to overcome personal and professional hardships.

A major inspiration for launching Reel 2 Life was Pope Benedict's meeting with artists and media figures in the Sistine Chapel last month. "The Pope's call to reflect beauty in the creative process to inspire faith was our rallying call," noted Professor Presti. "Reel 2 Life will be our social network platform where we can gather, share, and communicate empowering stories impacted by the media and pop culture."

Professor Presti conjectures, "Even though the success of Reel 2 Life may require some divine intervention, Reel 2 Life will help bring people together to discuss media and perhaps find some form of beauty between their personal faith and its manifestation in the media."
